For my first post, I wanted to share these Fruit Popsicles.
It's hot out! H.O.T! Thank God for air conditioning.
And, popsicles!
Like many around the country, we've been experiencing record high temperatures recently. These eye-pleasing frozen novelties are perfect for those balmy, humid days when you just want something refreshing.
There is no exact "recipe." Use whatever fresh fruit you have ... we love using cherries, melon, kiwi, strawberries, raspberries and peaches. Clean and slice the fruit(s) of your choice. It's prettiest if you can get some fruit to stick to the sides of the popsicle mold before pouring in whatever juice you plan to use ... so that the fruit can be seen easily once frozen and unmolded. I used a butter knife to kind of guide and "stick" the fruit to the inside of the mold.
After putting in the fruit, pour in whatever yummy juice you plan to use. We used pink lemonade for some and peach juice for others. Freeze until solid.
